How to Convert 3FR to JPG

3FR is Hasselblad's RAW format, used by their medium format digital cameras to capture the full, unprocessed sensor data needed for high-end commercial and fine art photography. While 3FR preserves every bit of detail a Hasselblad sensor records, it isn't viewable in everyday photo viewers, browsers, or client delivery platforms, which is why converting to JPG is necessary anytime a 3FR file needs to be shared, reviewed, or printed outside specialized RAW processing software.

Converting 3FR to JPG demosaics the sensor data and compresses the result into a small, universally compatible file, which is the standard final step once a Hasselblad shoot has been edited and is ready for delivery to a client or for general viewing.

1. Install Turbo Raw Image Converter on your Windows PC.
2. Open the app and select Batch Mode for an entire shoot, or Individual Mode for a single 3FR file.
